EARTHSC 1100/1200 - Intro Earth Science Lab
Fall 2021, 2022
Laboratory instructor (4 course sections and approximately 120 students total). Instructed and guided students through weekly earth science labs with topics ranging from rock, mineral, and fossil identification to groundwater mapping and geospatial data analysis.
EARTHSC 1121H - Honors Dynamic Earth
Fall 2022
This is an honors undergraduate course of 30 students, of which I served as the head laboratory TA. I was in charge of preparing, instructing, and guiding the weekly laboratory activities (similar in subject matter to the EARTHSC 1100/1200 course) as well as grading assignments, exams, and final term papers.
EARTHSC 5226 - Advanced Oceanography
Fall 2022
This is a graduate-level course of approximately 20 students. I served as a TA where my primary responsibilities included grading assignments and exams and transporting students for class field trips.
EARTHSC 2911 - The Climate Crisis
Fall 2024
This is a very large class comprised of approximately 200 students and taught jointly by professors from the School of Earth Sciences, the Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology, and the Department of History. I served as a TA for two sections of the course (approximately 60 students in total) and was in charge of leading weekly recitation sections. The recitations are a mix of laboratory, discussion, and writing activities. I was also responsible for grading laboratory assignments and exams.
